Fabs Versus Natural Animals

Watch the video below.

  1. What sort of animal do you think this is? (Give both the scientific name and the common name).
  2. Describe what the animal looks like.  If it were a fab, then what creatures could have it been "fabricated" or engineered from?
  3. Read this fact sheet.
    • This animal was not a mammal. What was it?
    • How much did adults weigh?  How tall was the animal?
    • What did they eat?
    • Why were they outlawed and hunted?
    • Do you believe they are extinct forever?  How could they bring them back?

  1. 1. I think this animal is a type of tiger dog. , Common name [Tasmanian tiger] scientific name [Thylacinus cynocephalus].
    2. It looks like a dog but a bit of kangaroo and tiger mixed in, a dog a kangaroo or tiger/cat.
    3. It is an oviparous type of animal; a Tasmanian tiger weighs 20 -30 kg, and a Tasmanian tiger can grow from to the height of 60 cm tall the Thylacinus cynocephalus eats meat the Tasmanian tiger was outlawed and hunted because they were killing farmers sheep, no I think somewhere there in hiding waiting, to bring them back we could put kangaroo d.n.a and wolf d.n.a in a tigers system and as then tiger gives birth the animal could come back.

  2. 1. This animal is called Thylacinus cynocephalus or Tasmania tiger.
    2. The animal looks like a wolf or a dog, but it has tiger stripes at the back. If it was a fab then I think it would be engineered from a tiger, wolf and kangaroo.
    3. The Tasmania tiger is a carnivorous marsupial. The adults weighed 30kg. The Tasmanian tiger was 60cm tall. The Tasmanian tiger hunted kangaroos, wallabies, small mammals and birds. They were hunted because they killed farmer’s sheep. No, I believe they are not extinct for ever because if you get DNA from a wolf and a kangaroo into a tiger than when the tiger gives birth the Tasmanian tiger can come back.

  5. 1. I think it is a tiger combined with a dog. The scientific name is Thylacinus Cynocephalus. The common name is the Tasmanian tiger.
    2. I think it would be fabricated from a dog and a tiger, and maybe a wolf.
    3.
    * It was a marsupial.
    * The adults weighed 30kg.
    * They were 6 or 2 feet.
    * Tasmanian tigers ate well they preferred kangaroos and other marsupials, small rodents and birds. They preyed on sheep, and poultry.
    * The Tasmanian tigers were outlawed and hunted because they killed sheep.
    * I do not think that Tasmanian tigers are extinct because there have been many sightings of them. They could maybe bring them back by cloning the extinct bodies, or clone the DNA.

  6. 1) The animal is a Tasmanian tiger and the scientific name is the thylacine

    2) The animal looks like a tiger and a wolverine to me. It could be a fab of a tiger and a Tasmanian devil.

    3) It is a marsupial.
    The adults weighed 30kg.
    3-7 feet.
They ate wallaby’s kangaroos and birds.
    Because they hunted human sheep.
They are extinct I think. They could genetically engineer a animal related to that sort.

  7. 1. This animal is a Thylacinus cynocephalus or Tasmanian tiger.

2.I think this animal has been fabricated with a tasmanian devil and a tiger because of its stripes and tasmanian devils size and facial features.

    3.

    • The Tasmanian tiger is a carnivorous marsupial

•Adult Tasmanian Tigers weigh about 30kg

•The animal is between 2 and 6 ft.

•They ate kangaroos and other marsupial, small rodents and birds.

Tasmanian tiger was outlawed and hunted because they were killing farmers sheep, but I think they are extinct but not forever. They could make a tiger breed with another tiger then do an Amniocentesis but instead of extracting some of the baby's water you could remove some of the baby dads DNA and implant a tasmanian devils DNA so make the baby a cross breed. Or they could genetically modify a male tigers sperm and add DNA from the other animals so it would be a cross breed when the female tiger gives birth.

  8. 1. I think it is a Thylacine or a Tasmanian tiger.
    2. It looks like a wolf shape but with light striped fur and if it were to be fabricated then it would come from a Kangaroo, wolf and dog.
    3. If this animal is not a mammal then it will be in the same breed as bigfoot or other monsters. It would be a monster. The animal is about 58 cm tall. They ate kangaroos, wallabies, small mammals, and birds. They were hunted and outlawed in Australia. Yes we could fabricate them.

  9. 1. I think it’s a Tasmanian Tiger.
    2. The animal looks like a wolf and a tiger combined. It would be fabricated between a wolf and a tiger.
    3. They were marsupial .
They ate kangaroos, wallabies, small mammals and birds
    They were hunted in Australia
Yes I think they are extinct forever

    1. I think that this animal is a mix of a tiger and a wolf. However, the scientific name for this creature is a thylacine, and the common name for this animal is a Tasmanian tiger because they were first discovered in Tasmania.
    2. The animal has a long skinny body with stripes near its rear end. It has a very wide jaw/mouth with rounded ears that stick up and short fur. They also have quite long tails. In my opinion, I believe that this creature would be fabricated for a wolf, tiger and some sort of feline.
    3. It was a marsupial.
    4. The adults weighed around 20-30kg and the average height for a Tasmanian tiger was around 60cm (24in) at the shoulder.
    5. The Tasmanian tiger ate small mammals, kangaroos, wallabies and some birds.
    6. They were outlawed and hunted because they were believed to kill sheep so farmers fought back by paying people to kill them.
    7. I do not think that we could bring them back. Because one of the only ways to bring them back would be to breed two animals that were in the thylacine suck as a tiger and a canine or feline but even that would most likely not work because there are many possibilities on how that would turn out. But that’s just my opinion there could still be a thylacine still out there somewhere, it’s just matter of if there is one and if we find it in time.

  13. 1. I think this is a dog/tiger. The common name of this animal is the Tasmanian tiger and the scientific name is the Thylacine.
    2. The Tasmanian tiger has stripes on his back, a long snout, narrow body and a long tale. I think this is a mixed breed of a tiger and a dog. I think the tiger because of the stripes on its back and a dog because of the shape of its body.
    3. The Tasmanian tiger was a marsupial. I think that this animal weighed about 35 pounds. I think the height of this animal is about 1 meter tall. These marsupials mostly ate kangaroos, wallabies, small mammals, and birds. Tasmanian tigers were hunted and outlawed because so many people were offering large ransoms for these now extinct animals. I believe that these animals will not be extinct forever. I think we have the advanced technology to bring them back to life.

  14. I think it is a cross from a dog or wolf and a tiger.
The animal has stripes down his lower back and long, sharp fangs and sharp short teeth everywhere else in its mouth. It has a dog like body and a long, cat like tail. I think it could have been from a dog or wolf and a tiger if it were a fab creature.
The Tasmanian tiger was not a mammal it was a marsupial.
The Tasmanian tiger mostly ate kangaroos, wallabies, small mammals, and birds.
The adult weighed usually about 30kg.
People outlawed and hunted them because for a male, it was 5 shillings and for a female, it was 7.
I don’t know if they’ll be extinct forever, but they could maybe bring them back from mixing DNA from whatever animal it was truly made from.

  15. 1. I think that this animal is a mix between a tiger and some breed of dog. The common name for this animal is Tasmanian tiger the scientific name for this creature is a Thylacinus cynocephalus.
    2. In my opinion, I see mainly a tiger because the first thing that pops to my eyes is the tiger stripes. The size of the animal reminds me of a dog. I also see a monkey because of the way the tail is shaped and how it jumps and moves. If it was a fab I think that it would be of a tiger, monkey, wolf or dog.
    3.~This animal is a marsupial.
    ~The adults weighs 30kg.
~This animal is 60cm long or somewhere between 2-6 ft.
~The Tasmanian tiger’s prey includes kangaroos, wallabies, small mammals, and birds.
~ The Tasmanian Tiger was outlawed and hunted because they hunted and killed the farmer’s sheep.
~ I think that the Tasmanian Tiger is extinct for now, but in a fews years time, I believe that they will slowly come back. Scientist could mix the DNA that the Tasmanian Tiger originally started from. The technology might not be strong enough right now to make the exact animal, but soon I think the Scientists will be capable of rehabilitating this animal.

  16. 1. I think the the thylacine (thylacinus cynocephalus) is a mix of some breed of dog (Canis Lupus Familiaris) and a tasmanian devil. (Sarcophilus Harrisii)
2.To me it looks like a dog combined with a tiger. I think it could have been fabricated or engineered from a tiger or a dog breed.
    3.~This animal is a marsupial.

~No, I do not believe that they will be extinct forever.
~The thylacine could come back by itself because there has been sighting in certain parts of the world, and if they are found we could have more tasmanian tigers.
